We believe in you and your body. We listen intently to you- your body knows what to do. We believe in being client centered vs. provider centered.
We believe in asking, not telling. We are for you taking hold of your power and following your heart and intuition.
We believe your power is yours and should not be relinquished to anyone else. You deserve respect and the right to make your own decisions during pregnancy and birth. We do not support fear induced misinformation. Birth does not have to be scary.
We believe birth is sacred. It's a becoming.

We also believe quality care can only be provided when our midwives are well rested, supported, and balanced. This can't be done if we do this work alone. We meet regularly as a team to stay informed on all of our clients, and we work closely together to watch over you and your family throughout your care with us.

We absolutely love Aurora Midwifery! With their help, we've now had two healthy baby girls at home and we feel beyond blessed! This team of midwives are always quick to respond to every question; they spend ample time assessing yours and baby's health during pregnancy and they provide endless referrals to every possible provider that you and baby may need during and after birth. We love their readiness to care for you at every hour of the day. We love that they come back to your home several times after baby is born so that you don't have to leave your home. They're concerned not only about birth and delivery but also about your postpartum recovery. We love each and every midwife on the team and their own unique gifting that we so richly benefit from.

Aurora midwifery is absolutely amazing! They all go above and beyond for those in their care. After a traumatic hospital birth Aurora helped me have such a healing home birth.
